Wayne Rooney called Yoane Wissa removing Brentford content from Instagram “very disrespectful.” Wissa wants to join Newcastle after an early return from Brentford’s pre-season camp.

    Rooney on Isak’s Situation

Rooney said Alexander Isak, who seeks a Liverpool transfer, broke trust with Newcastle. He added he wouldn’t want Isak back at the club. “Players must stay professional, train with teammates, and respect fans if they want to leave,” Rooney said on his BBC podcast.

    Wissa’s Conduct Draws Strong Disapproval

Rooney said Wissa worsens the situation by deleting Brentford posts and unfollowing the club. He criticized young players and poorly advised agents for influencing such actions. “Clubs help players progress, and this behaviour is disappointing,” Rooney said.
