Manchester United have stalled negotiations to sign Germany forward Giovanna Hoffmann from RB Leipzig.
The clubs cannot agree on a transfer fee for the 26-year-old, making a WSL move unlikely.
Hoffmann has one year remaining on her Leipzig contract.
United must complete summer signings by 23:00 BST on 4 September, one day before the new WSL season.

    Hoffmann’s International Experience

Hoffmann played in all five of Germany’s matches at Euro 2025.
She started in the quarter-final win over France and the semi-final loss to Spain.
Since her international debut last year, Hoffmann has scored three goals in 12 appearances.

United Strengthen Squad Ahead of Champions League

United finished third in the WSL last season.
They have signed Sweden internationals Fridolina Rolfo and Julia Zigiotti Olme this transfer window.
Marc Skinner aims to strengthen the squad ahead of the Women’s Champions League this season.
