West Ham United have strengthened their attack by signing Gil Vicente striker Pablo Felipe and agreeing a deal for Lazio’s Taty Castellanos.

The two moves could cost up to £47m and are driven by manager Nuno Espírito Santo as West Ham battle relegation.

Pablo joins for £18.3m plus add-ons after scoring nine league goals in Portugal.
The 21-year-old said he is determined to prove himself in the Premier League.

West Ham have also agreed a £26.1m deal for Castellanos from Lazio.
The 27-year-old has scored twice this season and offers a deeper forward option.

The club rejected a move for Jørgen Strand Larsen after baulking at his £40m valuation.
They remain interested in a short-term deal for Adama Traoré.

With Niclas Füllkrug loaned out, West Ham needed attacking reinforcements urgently.
Further departures and a new centre-back are also being considered.
