Manchester United agreed to let Andre Onana, 29, leave for Saudi Arabia while the Pro League window remains open. Casemiro, 33, rejected Al-Nassr and stayed at United to boost his 2026 World Cup chances. United still want to strengthen their midfield, though director Jason Wilcox does not view it as the highest priority. Antony, 25, revealed he spoke to Bayern Munich before joining Real Betis after a loan spell there last season.

    Managerial Options and Coaching Moves

Bayer Leverkusen considered Ange Postecoglou, 60, as a replacement for Erik ten Hag after his dismissal. Turkish club Fenerbahce, who recently sacked Jose Mourinho, also showed interest in Postecoglou. The former Spurs boss won the Europa League last season before leaving the club. Gary O’Neil, formerly Wolves manager, said he is waiting for the right offer after speaking with several top clubs.

    Transfer Battles Across Europe

Arsenal placed a £60m price tag on Gabriel Martinelli, 24, but clubs valued him nearer £40m. Arsenal and Barcelona both pursued Nottingham Forest defender Murillo, 23, during the window. Nottingham Forest forward Jota Silva, 26, could still leave for Saudi Arabia or Turkey after a failed Sporting move. Forest aim to raise funds after adding 13 new players this summer. Juventus tried for months to sign Randal Kolo Muani, 26, from PSG but Tottenham secured him first.
