England are in talks to host Uruguay and Japan in March as part of their 2026 World Cup preparations.
Thomas Tuchel’s side are close to sealing qualification, and the FA is arranging warm-up fixtures against non-European opponents.
Wembley is the likely venue, though final confirmation will come once England officially qualify and the World Cup draw is made.
Since Tuchel’s arrival, England have mainly faced European teams and want to test themselves against different playing styles.
They last met a South American side when losing to Brazil in 2024 and haven’t faced Asian opposition since Iran in 2022.
The FA is also planning a pre-tournament camp in Miami next June to prepare for the hot North American conditions.
Meanwhile, defender John Stones admitted he considered retiring last season due to persistent injuries but said, “Deep down, I don’t think I’d ever have done it.”
