    Overcoming Early Setbacks
Antoine Semenyo faced multiple rejections from top football academies, including Crystal Palace, Tottenham Hotspur, and Arsenal. At age 15, he nearly abandoned his dream of playing professionally. Support from coach Dave Hockaday led him to continue his development at South Gloucestershire and Stroud College, eventually joining Bristol City’s academy in 2017.

    Making an Impact at Bournemouth
In January 2023, Semenyo joined AFC Bournemouth for £10 million. He quickly became a key player, scoring his first goal for the club in April 2023. By October 2025, he had scored six league goals, helping Bournemouth climb the Premier League standings and establishing himself as a consistent performer.

    International Career and Recognition
Born in England, Semenyo chose to represent Ghana at the international level. Since making his debut in June 2022, he has become an important player for the Black Stars. His recent performance against Fulham, scoring twice and assisting once, highlighted his talent and growing influence on both the national and club stage.
